About
Invert RGB colors or convert to Rec.709 grayscale in the browser. Useful for dark-mode mockups and print-style previews. Nothing is uploaded.
Invert is a per-channel 255-minus, not a film-negative pipeline. Grayscale uses 0.2126 / 0.7152 / 0.0722 weights. Alpha is preserved. There is no channel mixer or tint.
Lossy export uses quality 0.92. Caps: 32 megapixels, 50 MB. One file.

What you actually get
Two modes. Invert flips color. Grayscale collapses to luma. Both run on 8-bit pixels in the tab.
This is not a film LUT, not a duotone, and not a lab-space conversion.
Invert vs Adjust
Adjust is for brightness, contrast, saturation, and temperature. Invert & Grayscale is a one-shot look.
You can run Adjust first, download, then invert — there is no stack of live filters across tools except via “use in.”
When not to use this tool
Skip it for color-managed print, accessibility contrast audits (use a dedicated checker), or restoring a scanned negative with an orange mask.
Files above 32 megapixels are rejected.
