Animated GIFs export as the first frame here — use GIF Frames to extract every frame. SVG has its own tool so you can set an export size. We do not write HEIC.
Safari and Firefox may fall back from AVIF to WebP or JPEG if the browser cannot encode AVIF. Quality sliders apply to lossy formats only.

HEIC without a cloud converter
Phone photos often arrive as HEIC. Many sites and Windows apps still want JPEG. Cloud “HEIC to JPG” pages take a full-resolution original. This tool decodes HEIC in the tab and writes a raster you choose.
If a browser cannot decode HEIC, convert on the phone first or try another desktop browser. We never upload the file to make that decode work.
Format limits
Outputs are JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF. Inputs include those plus GIF and HEIC/HEIF. GIF animation is not preserved. Color profiles are not certified for print.
Need a favicon? Use Image to ICO. Need a sized SVG raster? Use SVG to PNG.
When not to use this tool
Do not use it to author HEIC, keep GIF animation, or produce a color-managed CMYK file. It will not reconstruct a layered PSD.
If the goal is only a smaller JPEG, Compress Image is the shorter path — convert first only when the format itself is the problem.
