Blur or pixelate a whole image or a boxed region in the browser. Use it to hide names, plates, or UI details before you share a screenshot. Nothing is uploaded.
This is a rectangle you draw — not a face detector, not a license-plate model, and not certified redaction. Weak blur can sometimes be reversed. Pixelate is a block mosaic.
Export re-encodes lossy formats at quality 0.92. Caps: 32 megapixels, 50 MB. One file.

A box, not a detector
You choose the rectangle. The rest of the photo is untouched. That is the whole product.
Check the edges before you share. Hair, a second face, or a reflection in a window is easy to miss.
How strong is “hidden”?
Pixelate with large blocks is the more honest hide. Soft blur can leave enough structure to reconstruct text.
Neither removes the original from your disk. We never see the file. You are responsible for what you publish.
When not to use this tool
Do not use it as the only control on a court exhibit, a medical record, or a leak review. Those need audited redaction.
Files above 32 megapixels are rejected. For many boxes, a desktop editor is faster.
